According to different belt strength grade and the carcass structure, we should use mechanical buckle connection. The joint strength could reach 60%-80% of the belt total tensile-strength rating. If by using adhesive glue for joint connection, the joint strength could reach 90% of the belt total tensile-strength rating. Many kinds of joint methods could meet different customers requirement.

With the development of the coal industry, customers require higher and higher strength belts. We hereby give you some advice for using PVG belts instead of steel cord belts, the heavy duty PVG belts have lots of advantage over the steel cord belts, the details are as follows:
- Lightweight, lower consumed power, in the long term, by using PVG belts could conserve energy.
- Good flexibility and thin carcass.
- High strength across warp, good tear resistant for length direction.
- Flexible joint connection, easily to be fixed or replaced.
- The rubber cover have good advantage of good wearing resistant, tear resistant, fire resistant and so on. The rubber cover thickness and shape is at option.
- One-of procurement cost for PVG is much lower than the steel cord belt, so it is good for capital turnover.
